Seward
Seward; known as Alaska's playground is the gateway to the Kenai Peninsula and Kenai Fjord National Park. It is one of Alaska’s oldest and most scenic communities. Here you can experience trophy sport fishing, glacier and wildlife cruises, sailing, hiking, kayaking, flight seeing, the list is endless. With over 15,000 square miles of extraordinary adventure and excitement to choose from, even the rest of the state's residence come here to play.
Not only is it a major port cruise port for numerous cruise lines that dock here during the Alaskan cruise season, it's also a great connection point to central Alaska traveling through Anchorage, Denali and Fairbanks via coach and rail. The journey aboard the popular Alaska Railroad takes you across spectacular mountain ranges, immense glacial valleys, and pristine lakes.
