What is your favourite place in Alaska?

Homer, Alaska is a really amazing place. You travel along through grassland and forested area before you head down a hill where it opens up and all you can see is the ocean surrounded by magnificent snowy capped mountains. You can walk along the beach and see sea otters playing in the water and eagles flying above. It’s a gorgeous place to sit back and enjoy nature.

La Baleine café in Homer was a small breakfast café on the Homer Spit. I went in with no expectations to find out it is run by the same owners of Winterlake Lodge and Tutka Bay. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was delicious! Best breakfast sandwich I have ever had.
