Fairbanks Rail Tours

Fairbanks is located in the interior of Alaska and is the second largest city in the state and the gateway to the Arctic and our Fairbank Rail Tours.

Here you'll find both the magical northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in the summer.

Greet the Arctic wilderness on your doorstep and try a range of new and unique activities.

Fairbanks is a fantastic playground to explore as part of your next Alaska Railroad adventure.

Fairbanks INTRODUCTION

Aurora Season in the Fairbanks region is from August 21 to April 21, and it almost always appears when the sky is relatively dark and clear. In contrast, the midnight sun is out for the remainder of the year, from April 22 to August 20. Regardless of when you choose to visit Fairbanks, you can be transported into its gold rush past or engage in the art and culture of Alaska natives. They've created a vibrant river city right here in the far north, and visitors are always welcome.
