What is your favorite place in Alaska?
Living in a bit city, rush hour for me are cars bumper to bumper. Not so in Anchorage! Rush hour there means a car every few minutes, slowly making their way through the downtown core. And the best of all … the occasional moose joins in on its way from West to East.
What is your best travel memory in Alaska?
One word describes my experience in Alaska best: Serenity. From snowshoeing to skiing, from dogsledding to kayaking – yes in winter! I also visited wildlife, cultural centres, museums, and took a floatplane over stunning frozen landscapes and relaxed in the evening at an open fire under a clear sky dotted with stars. Spending the night in a cozy hotel and log cabin, I have never experienced a better nights sleep anywhere else. Memories that I will keep forever.
