Departing from the base of Mount Roberts Tram at the benches near the tour bus departure parking.

Humpback and orca whales are actively feeding while they are in southeast Alaska waters, so chances are you see whales breach, play, and maybe bubble net feed. You will savour wild Alaska salmon amidst amazing scenery at the Gold Creek Salmon Bake. This easy day tour combines a thrilling whale-watching cruise with a relaxing Alaska Salmon Bake for the best of picturesque Juneau!

Your whale watching adventure begins with a narrated transfer from the Juneau cruise ship pier (downtown Juneau) to Auke Bay. Here you will board the state of the art jet boat which is custom designed for Juneau whale watching and features large windows as well as an outside viewing deck. Watch for humpback whales that return to the nutrient rich waters around Juneau each year. You might also see other wildlife such as bald eagles and a variety of seabirds. An onboard naturalist will provide more information. After the cruise you will be transferred back to the Juneau cruise ship pier.
