Day 1 Anchorage to Denali National Park Entrance | Alaska Railroad Early this morning take the Denali Star, the Alaska Railroad’s flagship train, in the Goldstar Railcar with service to Denali National Park. Watch for views of Denali and keep an eye out for wildlife. Arrive mid-afternoon; the rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy an optional activity. (Breakfast & lunch is included onboard the train today)

Day 2 Denali National Park Entrance to Denali Backcountry Lodge | Helicopter Today marks an exciting opportunity to see Denali National Park from the air as you travel by helicopter to Denali Backcountry Lodge. Check in for your flight at the Denali Cabins between 10 am and 10:30 am, then allow yourself to be whisked away to the Temsco Helicopter base to board your flight. The ride provides not only your transportation to the lodge, but a sightseeing tour where the guides narrate the trip with an interpretive tour of the Park’s landscapes and history, all while keeping an eye out for wildlife. Look out for different animal species such as bears, caribou, moose, sheep, wolves and a variety of birds as you travel within the park. (Snacks and dinner are included today).

Day 3 Denali Backcountry Lodge Today, experience all that Denali Backcountry Lodge has to offer! After breakfast, experience activities in Denali National Park such as day hikes, photography, gold panning, botany walks and mountain biking. If you crave a day to unwind, take advantage of the unlimited sauna access, participate in yoga, or add on a therapeutic massage. After a long day, relax in the game room or lounge and unwind with a cocktail or drink of your choice at the full-service bar. Please note that while all meals are included at the lodge, alcohol is an extra charge. Also included and located at your fingertips is access to unlimited equipment and guided adventures while staying at the property.

Day 4 Denali Backcountry Lodge to Fairbanks | Helicopter + Alaska Railroad After breakfast, enjoy another helicopter sightseeing tour while on your way back to Temsco and soak in the scenery. Then mid-afternoon board Alaska Railroad’s Denali Star Train in the Goldstar Railcar to Fairbanks. Enjoy the late afternoon scenery as you travel north to Fairbanks where your incredible Alaskan adventure comes to an end. (Breakfast & dinner is included on board the train today)
