INTRODUCTION

Admiralty Island in Southeast Alaska is home to over 1,500 brown bears, and a 25-minute floatplane ride from Juneau is all it takes to get there.

At the Pack Creek Bear Sanctuary on the eastern shore of Admiralty Island, you'll have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view and photograph wild bears up-close and in their natural surroundings.

Watch as they move along the shores and down from the steep slopes of Admiralty Island to the intertidal wetlands at the mouth of Pack Creek.

Here they feed on the spawning Pink and Chum salmon – a great time to take photos!
